This Valentine’s Day, the Smooches & Pooches adoption event offers an opportunity to find a new furry friend. The event is organized by Fort Worth Animal Care & Control and will occur from February 13 to 15 at both PetSmart satellite adoption centers in Fort Worth.

Participants can meet potential pet companions throughout the day at both locations. Additionally, on Saturday, February 15, a special Valentine’s Day adoption drive will be held at the North Animal Campus and the Chuck & Brenda Silcox Center. During this drive, free pet vaccinations for current pet owners will be available from noon to 4 p.m.

The PetSmart locations are at 2901 Texas Sage Trail and 4800 S.W. Loop 820 in Fort Worth. On Saturday only, shelter events will take place at the Silcox Center on Martin Street and the North Animal Campus on Hillshire Drive.

All animals available for adoption are fully vaccinated, heartworm tested, on preventatives, and spayed or neutered. Adoption fees are waived to encourage community members to adopt pets.

Furthermore, the first ten adoptions at each location on Saturday will receive a special adoption gift bag.
